Andrew Firestone and his family felt the devastating impact of cancer, losing his paternal grandmother Polly Curtis Firestone after a brave 5 year battle at Sloan Kettering Hospital in New York City. Now, decades later, the advancements in diagnosis and treatment made possible by the American Cancer Society may have allowed for Polly to beat her disease. Andrew supports ACS because he believes that we have a responsibility to do everything we can to make sure that the brilliant researchers, doctors, nurses, and caregivers have every tool they need to ensure that we see an end to cancer.
Andrew and his wife Ivana and their three children live in Santa Barbara, CA, and are proud to support the American Cancer Society.
For more than a 100 years, The American Cancer Society has been leading the fight to end cancer. With your support, we have helped usher in an era where more people survive cancer than ever before. By translating our research findings into action, we've seen a 20% decline in US cancer death rates since the early 1990s. Join us to help finish the fight.
